SOLO DEVELOPER & SOFTWARE CRAFT
Mashiron Labs is a one-person software studio. Right now, everything here goes into one thing: Mana, an AI companion that lives on your PC.
Meet Mana ↓
Local-first
Software that runs on your own machine and keeps your data there.
One person, start to finish
Designed, built and looked after by a single developer.
Built in the open
Every milestone gets written up in the Quest Log, including what went wrong.
MAIN QUEST · IN PROGRESS
Mana マナ
A little mana-crystal spirit who lives in your PC. She chats, listens and helps while you work or game, running on your own machine, offline-capable and private by default.
Mana is built solo, on my own savings and hardware. If you'd like to see how far she can go, you can help fund her next level.
Support the quest
Follow her journey in the Quest Log →Through GitHub Sponsors.
What Mana does
Talks with you
Speak to her and she answers out loud, with speech recognition and her own voice.
Runs on your PC
Local models, works offline, and your conversations stay on your machine.
Uses your tools
Connects to the apps and services you choose through MCP.
Learns new tricks
Add plugins from her store, and approve new skills she proposes.
SIDE QUEST
Folio
Mana writes small HTML pages for you: reports, tables, charts. Folio is the lightweight rendering engine being built to show them inside her own window, at tens of megabytes instead of a whole browser. It's open source, so other .NET apps can use it too.
